The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) is the unique institution for declaring the national examination results at both primary education levels to secondary education levels. This is due to an Act of the parliament Act no. 21 of 1973 this makes NECTA to be responsible for administrating all examinations in Tanzania.

When is the examination for ACSEE conducted?
ACSEE National examination is conducted on the first week of May every year. Candidates who are allowed to seat for the examination are those who completed two years in Advanced level, with all three credits (pass) of ordinary level education.
Combinations of candidates for ACSEE seats for:-
General studies are the compulsory subject of all combinations. Physics is the natural subject of most scientific combinations. History becomes the mother, of most arts combinations and Basic Applied Mathematics is compulsory for most sciences combinations.

History, English Language, and Geography (HGL).
History, Geography and Kisahili (HGK).
History, Kiswahili, and English Language (HKL).
Kiswahili, English Language and French (KLF)
Economics, Commerce, and Accountancy (ECA).
History, Geography, and Economics (HGE).
List of sciences combinations:-
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
Physics, Geography, and Mathematics (PGM).
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).

steps to check your ACSEE results:-
1. Visit the NECTA website at www.necta.go.tz, and click on “Results” from the main menu. The “Results” window will show all results available.
2. Select “Exam type” as ACSEE.
3. Select your “Year” as 2022. Students now are able to view their results since the list of schools will be displayed. Click on the Alphabet letter to which the school you studied belongs. For example “K” for Kibiti High School. Now you are able to view your form six results.
