Overview:
I am seeking an experienced freelancer to fully set up and prepare my Shopify website and integrate Booqable for my baby equipment rental business. The project involves building a site using Shopify’s template system and customizing it to showcase our inventory, manage orders, and facilitate online reservations with delivery options. You will be responsible for seamlessly integrating Booqable’s rental management functionalities into the Shopify environment.

Build the site on Shopify using a customizable template that aligns with our brand identity.
Create a user-friendly design that is responsive for both desktop and mobile devices.
Booqable Integration:
Integrate Booqable into the Shopify site to manage rental operations.
Configure the system to list and manage inventory for baby equipment (e.g., strollers, cribs, car seats, etc.). Ensure seamless functionality between product listings on Shopify and rental management on Booqable.
Scope of Work:
Product Setup:
List all rental products with detailed descriptions, images, pricing, availability, and rental terms.
Set up rental-specific details like rental periods, deposit requirements, and special conditions.
E-commerce & Reservation Functionality:
Configure Shopify’s e-commerce features to handle product selection, a shopping cart for rental items, and secure payment processing.
Implement an intuitive reservation system through Booqable for booking and delivery scheduling.
Set up automated notifications and confirmations for customers upon reservation and delivery.
Customization & Optimization:
Customize Shopify templates to reflect our brand and improve user experience.
Optimize site performance and ensure a smooth integration between Shopify and Booqable.
Provide documentation or a brief training session on managing and updating the site after launch.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven expertise in Shopify website development, including template customization.
Demonstrated experience integrating third-party systems like Booqable with Shopify.
Strong background in e-commerce and online booking/reservation systems. Knowledge of rental business operations and inventory management. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work within project timelines. Clear communication skills and willingness to provide post-launch support if needed.
