We are looking for a custom Square Space theme and site build based on a Figma design with roughly 4 general page templates and a blog section.
The site would include:
• Homepage
• Our Work
– with numerous individual work pages
• About Us
• Process
• Blog
– with individual blog page design
• Contact us
Functionality wise we will need the following:
• Video elements in all (most) the banner areas across the site pages.
• Video elements running behind content for visual depth
• Various design elements will have slight overlaps (will need z-index work) with html based blur settings.
• Areas with logos/images that rotate right to left similar to stock tickers.
• Portfolio/work section with the ability to show multiple pieces and filter based on categories.
• Easy admin method to add new work items.
• Other potential items as you review the Figma Designs
• Process page will have elements that should slide in from the side when the user is scrolling. Commonly referred to as horizontal scrolling. [login to view URL] has a good example of this.
• Integration of Hubspot CRM tool, header tracking code and embedded form on one page.
All pages and the content represented on them will need to be editable in the admin.
We will provide Figma concepts for all pages and a single mobile variation of the homepage with the idea that interior pages will follow the same responsive structure.
Individual works will be provided as 1-4 Figma page designs (meant to handle variety) with an additional 10-20 provide as text and image assets.
Ideal Skills:
– Proficiency in Squarespace and Figma
– Experience in creating custom themes
– Strong understanding of incorporating specific features into web templates
– Ability to implement social media functionalities and categorization in a blog section.
Please share examples of current/past Squarespace work and any experience you’ve had working with Figma designs.
Figma concepts are mostly complete, currently going through small final revisions. We can share Figma dev view access upon request.
