Job Description
The Program and Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day implementation and management of the organization’s programs and operations. This role ensures that programs are carried out effectively, efficiently, and in line with the organization’s mission. The Manager will also provide support in administrative tasks, operational coordination, and team management. Directly reports to the operations director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of various programs, ensuring they meet the organization’s goals and deadlines.
- Oversee daily operational activities, including logistics, scheduling, and resource management.
- Coordinate with program staff, volunteers, and external partners to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Assist with budget planning and financial management for programs, tracking expenditures and ensuring compliance with funding.
- Develop and maintain program materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that program performance is tracked and evaluated, gathering data for reports and impact assessments.
- Supervise a small team of program coordinators, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Assist with fundraising efforts, including grant applications, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure that all program activities comply with applicable regulations, policies, and donor requirements.
- Coordinate travel, accommodations, and other logistics for program-related events and activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial records are accurate

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, social services, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in program and operational management within a nonprofit setting.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and program management tools.
- Knowledge of budget management and financial oversight in nonprofit organizations.
