In Kenya general election is conducted every after five years. According to the Kenyan Constitution, the next general application will be held on 9 August 2022. Voters will vote for electing the president, members of the National Assembly, Senate, Country governors, and Members of the 47 county assembly.
PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR KENYAN GENERAL ELECTION 2022.
There are Three Nominees for the Kenyan general election up to date. The first one is Raila Odinga a former Prime Minister (2008-2013). Was a leader of the Orange Democratic Movement under an alliance of Azimio and his Running Mate Martha Wangari Karua who is an advocate of social justice and a good politician.
The second is William Ruto. The current deputy president of Kenya (2013- up to date). He is a leader of the United Democratic Alliance. His Running mate is Rigathi Gachagua. Is a Kenyan politician and the current member of parliament for the Mathira Constitution.
The last one is David Waihiga Mwaure. He is the current leader of the Agano party.
CAMPAIGNS OF PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES IN KENYA.
Every candidate has his own campaigns mainly based on sensitive political, social, and economic issues. Kenya has a lot of natural resources such as Oil, Gas, Limestone, Gypsum, Soda Ash, Gemstones, Fluorspar, Zinc, and Hydropower. All these make it to be the nation with the highest economic level within East Africa Community. In this Campaign, every candidate promotes himself on how he can lift up the Kenyan economy.
For example, William Ruto promises citizens when he will win the election he will legalize the use of marijuana and marijuana cultivation as commercial products. He tried to recognize the price of beans and marijuana in the world market. He finalized says marijuana has a good price compared to beans. If every citizen will cultivate marijuana on his plot will eradicate the problem of poverty in Kenya.

Since the mentioned above are major problems facing Kenyan Government. Every candidate promotes his policies on how he can help Kenyan citizens to eradicate these problems. Most politicians in Kenya demand a fair election. This seemed to be a serious issue in Kenya. Some people say the dominant party doing unfairly in the most general elections in the country.
The general election of any country is always under AU and UN to ensure free and Fair Election as an element of democracy.
