World Teachers’ Day is well known as International Teachers day. It is celebrated across the World every year on October 5. This Anniversary always expresses gratitude for the Contributions of Teachers. Since all Teachers around the World prepare children to face World Challenges. World Teachers’ Day is celebrated in every year on October 5 across the World.

Moreover, This day marks the adoption of the 1961 ILO/UNESCO recommendation to concern the status of teachers, regarding their rights. Also, The responsibilities of teachers and standards for the initial preparation and further education recruitment, employment, and learning conditions. But, in 1994 UNESCO officially Proclaimed this Anniversary to all Teachers.

Furthermore, The 2022 theme for this year toward World Teachers’ Day is “The Transformation of Education Begins With Teachers”

Moreover, The Joint message from officials of UNESCO/ILO reads. “Today on Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the critical role of teachers in transforming learners’ potential by ensuring they have the tools they need to take responsibility for themselves. Therefore, for others and the planet. We call on countries to ensure that teachers are trusted. Also, recognized as knowledge producers, reflective practitioners, Also, policy partners”

Furthermore, on World Teachers’ Day let us loud together on teachers to help them on

  • They are demanding fair salaries & working conditions.
  • Calling for policies that protect them.
  • Ensuring they are given the autonomy they need.

Therefore, we have to support teachers in demanding their rights. Since teachers are critical producers of all officials at all levels in the country and Worldwide. Including doctors, drivers, pilots, engineers, leaders, etc.

Mrs. Yinka Awobo Pearse from Nigeria said, “The curriculum used in education departments and Colleges are dated and not based on real life. The transformation requires deep knowledge and understanding. A well-trained teacher is central to the delivery of the curriculum. Teacher quality remains one of the higher drivers of learning outcomes in the classroom.”

Additionally, The government of each country has to put much effort to help teachers have digital devices. Because these devices can easily the transformation of knowledge, especially on the spread of pandemic diseases. Therefore, this can lead to simplicity in the education of children.
